“How far in advance should I reserve my session?”
— Typically I recommend booking as soon as you know that you'd like a session with me. Session dates are limited and fill up quickly. This will be the best way to grab the time and date that works for you. Maternity sessions are recommended to occur between 30-36 weeks. Newborns are reserved by your due date and then confirmed once the baby is born (5-14 days after birth).
“How do I reserve a session date with you?”
— Once you have contacted me and we work out all of the details of your session, it's simple! An electronic contract will be sent to you to sign and a 50% non-refundable retainer will be collected at that time so your date and time can be reserved. No session is guaranteed without the retainer and contract completed.
“I want a totally creative session, but I’m not good at coming up with the exact look I want...can you help create something for me?”
— Absolutely! That's my job and what I love doing the most. We will talk about what makes you tick, your style, favorite colors, etc. Then I will concept your shoot and even help you with wardrobe suggestions for everyone. That's full-service, baby!
“We had our shoot — what’s next?”
— I'm sure we had an awesome time together, creating lifetime memories! Now sit back and relax while I edit. My typical turn-around time for editing is 2 weeks, but depending on the project it could be more or less. Don't worry, I will notify you when they're ready for viewing and schedule your in-person viewing and ordering session.
“What happens at my viewing and ordering appointment?”
— So glad you asked! This is the fun part - we get to view your images together in a slideshow and choose your favorites. Then we create the perfect prints and products package for you, including any canvases, albums, and prints you'd like to order. Once the order is purchased, your awesome new artwork will arrive at your home within 2-4 weeks.
“What forms of payment do you take?”
— You can submit your session fees right online through my easy invoicing system. I accept credit cards, Paypal, and checks. Please allow any mailed check payment 1 week for processing and confirmation. Cash is also accepted. Sorry, no money orders.
